Default Yet anouther Balancer

Here is one that I make. Some people like and some people don't. It's just another option among the rest of the balancers.

Here is the one that I made. Actually it is parts from an aluminum ballpoint pen. I was about to order myself a spektrum neck adapter when I needed a pen to write up an order list. The first pen I got hold of was this one and I just got an idea. It worked out well

Is there a durability concern with the factory strap ring? I thought I recalled reading that it wasn't very sturdy to begin with...so would adding this type of balancer device (with more leverage on the little nub) make it easier to break?

Having relocated the strap ring on mine, I am quite confident that the strap ring can take it. It is secured by both the DX7 chassis casing as well as the blinged chrome face plating. You wont rip this puppy out easily....
