6HV Hangar
Hello all you 6HV owners and dreamers.
I've been researching the 6HV as my next heli and know that many others have been doing the same. I have found many useful bits here and there, but I feel we need a place for all of this information. I started a thread that I hoped would turn into what you are asking for.

Is it possible to do the sub-thread thing? I just see like 10 6HV threads floating around. It'd be nice to wrangle them all into one nice little corner of cyberspace.

OK - I guess in the future Will James may make sub-fora for the Compass models but for now I've stickied your 6HV hangar - up to you to fill it -here's a start

I'm a teacher on spring break and would love to get this thing organized for the 6HV owners. Whether or not we get sub-categories, it doesn't really matter, I've modified the above. Does anyone know how to hide the links behind the titles in RED?
I'm excited about this and haven't even ordered my 6HV yet. It's going to happen Sunday, after a current ebay auction ends. Cheers to all who are contributing and giving advice. Cullen |

corected- now on Kmh, forget thats not the same formula, 1Miles equals 1,609kmh so 40Kmh equals hmmm??? ok ! 24,854Miles. or 0,032Mach.

i flew my ATOM 500 2 days ago in windy conditions, the wind was a constant 20-25km/h and the gusts came from all directions from 30 up to 40km/h and even then the 500 did'nt have real problems doing FFF and light 3D...
i think this is possible because those ATOM's are very aerodynamicly built, i for example can let my ATOM 500 canopy dissapear in a old Trex 500 canopy of me. last weekend we placed the ATOM right next to a T500 and then you notice the difference, the ATOM is alot smaller and lower then the T500, only the overall length and blades are the same. so yes i believe a ATOM 6HV can handle those kind of winds especially with a pro at the sticks !

The stock 6HV comes with plastic arms - metal ones are available - personally I prefer the plastic - bit more damping in control and give in case of crashes
