Question Anybody using their Logo as FPV/Video platform?

I'm 30 pages down this forum and I've yet to hear from anyone. Search yields nothing. Is it possible?

Kyle flies AP for a media company named Higher Definition Media (HDM), and one of the platforms used is a Logo 600SE. Everything the company does is video, so the machine HAS to be smooth.

The model in it's current configuration is about 15 pounds with heavy glass installed, and we get 10 minutes on 10S 5000mah packs.

The attached link is to HDM's web-site, and the second video down on the Home Page titled "HDM Aerial Reel", shows some of the stuff Kyle's produced lately.

The "SE" works good as an AP platform (-:

Dave is that fb or fbl? ....is it true that if not balaced correctly for cg you will see a lot of vibration from the fb unit fighting the imbalance?

The "SE" is FBL (V-Bar). We've never tried to fly one "un-CG'd", to see if it vibrates. A good CG is always a good idea in any case, as an out-of-balanced heli doesn't piro as clean as a well balanced one.

Along those same lines (kinda), on the "HEXA" you see in the vid linked above, if the machine is not balanced in all directions, the motor on the "heavy" side works harder to keep things level, and flight times go down.

Thank you for the answer. I am presently awaiting on some battery adapters before I take the plunge and start flying my first cp heli: a Blade 450D. I was thinking of going the FPV route with a Quad. But, the more I read about the Gaui 330x-s thread...the more discouraged I became. Lots of people having trouble over just about everything, as opposed to here, where the VAST majority of posters rave about their machines. I'm gathering from this threads that the Logo is pretty configurable and excellent power / flying time ratios can be easily achieved. I realize that I'm still a long way from getting a Logo, but I'm looking forward to learning all I can as well before I own one.
