On the POT settings, 9 o'clock is the default setting? Just want to make sure I get it right.

Tarot 450 Pro

MKS DS92 on cyclic
MKS 8910 on tail
CC Ice Lite 50 (burned it yesterday, will put HobbyWing Platinum 40A + CC BEC 10A when it arrives)
Tarot 450M 3800kV
Tarot FBL head + many Align parts
Futaba R6208SB Rx
Futaba 8FG Super Tx

Parameter menus
B Control behavior - Pro (Red)
C Pitching up compensation - Medium (Red)
D Headlock gain - Medium (Red)
E Stick deadband - 2 (Red Flashing) - might try 1 (purple)
F Torque Precomp - Off (Purple)
G Cyclic Response - Normal (Purple)
H Pitch Boost - Red (Medium)

I'm pretty satisfied with this setup, this is my first heli and I've flown it for just a half of dozen packs. Might try Extreme Control behavior later and then maybe transmitter, but I really like it this way. I tried flybar helis and would never buy one after trying BeastX

DS510m on cyclic
DS520 on tail
Spektrum DX6I with AR6210 rx (std rx connection)
RCE-BL70G esc w/ bec @ 6V
425D stock align blades(came with flybarred kit)
Zippy 2800mah 6s 30C x3

Blue light @ 6 degrees transition around 5.8 (had to move balls to inner holes on stock
Align D6FF metal servo horns to get blue @ 6, was red @ 6 in outer hole on servo horn)
Rest of head is stock align per manual.

Beastx mounted on lower gyro tray with 1 layer of 3M 4011 tape(looks an awful lot like
The mounting pad that came with my gp900 gyro)

Tail servo ball on outer hole per align manual

11 deg max collective pitch(far as my gauge goes so set there)

Parameter menu all default
A: no adj needed used swash leveler on step G in setup
B: sport
C: medium
D: medium
E: 2
F: off
G: normal
H: off

All pots at default factory setting
Gyro sense in tx @ 69

Just set this up today may need some tweaking, but I gotta say this flew AWESOME!
Got to fly 3 packs after setup and the difference compared to the flybar is simply amazing!
Might play around with some of the parameters but seeing as I just sport fly and it flies so great as is Idk if I need to change anything. We'll see if after some more flying if its needed.
That is if I get the chance to weather here in NW PA sucks! I need to move south for the winter!

After several flights I noticed some slight cyclic wobble and minor tail wagging.
I moved the ball on the tail servo to the inner hole as others on here have suggested. That really improved tail performance and was able to raise my gain back to 69 after lowering it to 59 with the ball in the outer hole.

I turned pot 1 (cyclic gain) down 1 hash mark from the factory position. This took care of the wobble which was very slight and I really had to watch for it to see it.

I turned pot 2 (direct cyclic feed forward) up 1 hash mark from factory position. This may get tweaked some more as I continue to fly.

Lastly pot 3 (tail dynamic) was increased 1 hash mark also has the tail wasn't stopping quite right.

I also switched from sport to pro on parameter B, and I think I am going to go to transmitter mode soon and fine tune the controls.

I am really enjoying the beast and look forward to putting it on my 450 sport soon!
