Default "J" déjà vu

Well point "J " is not a success friends, I got red not bleu. I get bleu at 6.9 degres
but I don't want 6.9. Included are a couple of pics of the servo horns and links.
Any advice...

Sly,

I moved the ball in on the servo arm one hole to get the V-Bar set correctly.

I should think that would work on your machine, sir.

Your pushrod will no longer be at 90 degrees to the servo arm though.

I don't run a BeastX, but I do believe you need to move the balls in quite a bit on the servo horn.

Or space the outer balls on the swash.
If you move the ball in one hole and find you get uneven collective range you can correct mechanically by rotating your horns 1 spline in the appropriate direction.
Or cheat and tune it out in radio setup.

The one hole in worked for me (on a Skookum, but same idea).

About 15.5 mm on the servo horn and I did not place the servo horn level in reference to the main shaft... but perpendicular to the pushrod...

I saw Sebastian Zajonez fy his 5.5 at IRCHA last year. When I saw that his servo ball was not at 15.5mm I asked how he could get a blue light at those settings. He said "The blue light is not that important. Red will be fine just make sure to set it at exactly 6 degrees" Then he flew the following flight with it.

We drill holes at about 15 mm, and we get blue at 6,1 degrees.
The links aren't perpendicular anymore, but this seems to be no problem. The heli's fly very good.

I did the same when I converted my old 500 to fbl. Worked great.

Apparently its the thing to do, pushed the ball back 1 hole and bleu appeared, magic !
Of course the swash looks like its on crutches, , but if it flies, that's most important.

You could put the servo arm in a different position on the spline to get 90 degress between rod and arm. Will not be aligned with the servo case any more but the geometry would be the same for pos and neg pitch...
