Used 450 w/AR6100e RX. What would you do?

I have 3 450's. The last one I got late last month.
It's been cold and windy so no time to fly.
I was looking at the helies and I noticed on the newest bird that the wires from the servo's were upside down from the other two. I than noticed that the RX was held in place with Velcro and was bigger.
So I take the RX out and it's a AR6100e and I believe it's a fake AR6100e because an AR6100e that I have left from my 400's says MICROLITE PARKFLIER RECEIVER.
The one I got on the 450 says simply MICROLITE RECEIVER.
See picture (the one on the left is my RX. The one on the right is what I got.
So, I am out $50 bucks because I have to buy a RX and I want the RX that is supposed to come with a 450 a true AR6115e.
The seller and I are in communication and he wants pictures so I will post them here and point to this thread.
I am requesting to be reimbursed the cost of a AR6115e RX because if the RX I got is a fake I sure can’t sell it to help defer the cost of a AR6115e.
Am I being fare? What would you do?

I got a $4.00 RX when I thought I was getting a $49.99 RX

The seller is claming he bought the heli from someone else who bought it new, sold it to my seller. My seller said he Never inspected the RX and flew it 15 times before he sold it to me.
He says he never swapped anything on the heli.
I say he should be held responsable. In his AD photo, if you enlarge it you can clearly see the AR6100e with the antana sticking out of the bottom of the RX, not the top like the AR6115e RX's.
I hope I hear something soon from the seller and how he plans to make this right.

I don't think the seller should cover your costs for a new receiver especially a different one. If anything, give him a chance to get you a genuine 6100 which goes for like 20 bucks used.

The market for fake receivers is rampant. Most people wouldn't know unless they had something to compare it too like you did.

Keep working with the seller. My suggestion would be to reimburse you 20 bucks.

I did't pay a premimum price to get a FAKE AR6100e RX. I paid for what should have been a AR6115e that comes stock with a Blade 450.
My other two USED 450's both came with all STOCK electronics.
Stupedily I ASSumed wrong.

If the seller can find me a WORKING AR6115e RX and ship that (less the $4.00 for the fake) I could live with that.
Or I'll ship the whole thing back for a full refund.
Either way I feel I was taken advantage of.
BTW, the seller was on this AM and chose to ignore my PM to him pointing at this thread.

I don't catch what makes this a fake RX. Can someone explain it to me?
I see the differences in the photos, but do that make it a fake?
Did the seller tell you that the heli came with a AR6115e? Or did he sell it as "all electric included"? Big difference!

i would just use it and not worry about it..its only a 450 and im sure it works with no issues

I get it. Sorry I wasn't reading your post correctly. You bought a 450 and thought it was coming with the 6115E because that's what's stock on the 450. The 6115E is a DSMX receiver vs. a DSM2 on the 6100E so you're right, it is more current technology.

That said, it really comes down to what the seller posted in the description. If the post said "Stock Blade 450" then I'd say you should expect a 6115e. But at the same time, as a buyer you could have asked questions about the specifics of what you were getting. It's a used bird so it's always best to ask. And if the seller was up front in telling you he was not the original owner then that's a red flag to ask more questions.

I made a mistake and got my helies mixed up!
After sorting through a Lot of Pm's and going back and checking Ad's I realized I had purchased a 450 WITHOUT a RX a couple of months ago.
I was the one that put the AR6100e in the heli in question.
I appoligize to ALL involved and for wasting time.

On a plus note me NIB MCPx V2 arrived moments ago so I get to go flying again.

I am so glad I kept my cool and didn't mention anyone involved.
