yes, that is true. Ideally should be on other side. I knowingly do so at my own risk. Don't remember why I did it like that originally, been a couple years but it made sense at the time. I might look into it again.

The gyro goes on top to protect the receiver and for better wiring. It's worth as much as the gyro and mounting it on the side exposes it to a crash more than the gyro on the top. Plus the Rx has the servo inputs on the top of the case and makes wiring easier with it inside. My last crash landed on the left side and the Rx would of been hit directly.

Oh, I'm sorry. That, too! I only saw gyro waiting to be whacked by flybar. Forgot tail servo waiting for tail boom strike to have case shattered too!

I take my two to work with me every day. The over size skids work great for tall grass and uneven surfaces of job sights. White heli is an EXI E325 clone 99% compatable with thunder tiger parts, heavy (1467grams loaded) and built like a tank. Green V1 E325, great fun to fly.

What a strange place to put the esc, it kinda spoils the look. Is the ICE 50 too big to go in under the canopy on the v2?

Sweet-looking MT there. I know you've got a torque tube, but I've never seen those bolts before (arrowed). At a guess, how would you ever replace that frame if it got trashed? What I mean is, I've never seen that frame in the parts list.

It's a V1 frame. (plastic)
Still like the old v1 frame, but if it crash might go to V2.

While long thought that putting the tube toruqe the tail of mt v2 did not think that would look so good thanks
