Default G'day from Australia

Hey guys.

I am 14 years of age from Sydney, Australia. I have got into RC helis from my love of electronics and an ambition to improve my mechanical skills!

My first helicopter that I have built is my HK-450GT. It has the following:
Turnigy Plush 40A ESC
Turnigy Typhoon 2215H Motor
Hobbyking HK401b Gyro
HK 933 Digital servo on the Tail
HK939MG Cyclic Servos
Spektrum AR6200X

As you can see it is made almost entirely of Hobbyking parts. Ofcourse I crashed it on my maiden, which did not do much. Only stripped a main gear and bent a flybar. Was quite easy to fix.

I will be hopefully getting an MCPX as I heard they are almost indestructible on Long Grass.

Look forward for you all to introduce yourselves to me!

Hello Kozzy,

Welcome to HF, do you have a simulator? It highly recommended to master your hovering skills (and pretty much any other), on the sim first. Otherwise you will be spending a lot of money and time at the bench fixing it

Lastly, check Finless Bob build videos here (https://www.helifreak.com/forumdisplay.php?f=60). Great source of info.

Have fun and try to stick around
