Wow JC- so you actually blacked out? That's worrysome... better get that looked at by the Doc.

Good way to get back in the game. Buy a new one, sell off the BeastX. Probably will work out just about even when you consider you still have a few extra parts.

The aluminum looks great! .. but beware. Aluminum doesn't "flex" very well in a crash- it will just likely bend a bit and cause more damage elsewhere. I was tempted too... but decided it wasn't worth the added weight and potential for more damage.

I'll do the rest of the tail and the swashplate one day.
That looks great. Don't crash

Here's my updated fleet. Mcpx's are C05/ extended tail boom, and hp05/120Sr tail. 450's are 450 3D converted with ZYX and Tarot head, and brand new 450X. Who sees where I store my batteries..lol

They look like the ones from Hobby King. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=11157. They worked well for the B450 3D, and are well balanced with no balancing adjustment necessary. However, I am not sure if they are weighted optimally for FBL.

helidude: i think that is this canopy, although the colors in HeliHigh's pic look more vibrant and bright. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=10805

I think i am going to order it and then enhane the colors somehow. Then get a green tail fin, yellow horizontal fin, and red tail blades. I think it will look awesome!!

Matt's conversion to DFC is using the Tarot 3G FBL head w/ the DFC Conversion links (Not the actual DFC ones, but ones specifically for the 3G hub as they are longer) and assuming a Blade 4503D main shaft as it requires no modification. There is another member who has done the same.

TL45110-05 Part number for the Head
TL45188-01 Part number for the Links

I don't like that conversion personally as you don't get the full benefit of the lowered head, which is the biggest plus of going DFC. To use the actual Tarot/Align DFC head you need the 4503D main shaft, cut it at the jesus-bolt hole and make a new hole 6mm lower.
