Default Tight fit betweeen Mainshaft and Swash

I just started the build of a dfc and have a couple issues. The swash is tight on the mainshaft, it certainly doesn't move freely. I'm also missing a dfc ball-link. Should I contact Assurance RC. What's the preferred method of dealing with this sort of thing?

Get in touch with the shop you got your 250 from. They may help you address the issue.

Yeah, I'm on it. It's a little irritating though. Mainshafts are hard to come by. I'll end up milling mine down to fit which I'm not real wild about. It is, in effect, a bearing surface.

I doubt its the shaft. Much more likely to be a poorly machined swash.

Agree. I received my DFC swashplate yesterday and tried it on DFC main shaft. It fitted perfect without any binding and moved smoothly.

Dude, I was literally so tired I fell asleep and dropped my iPhone in my face while I was laying in bed writing it. I wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience or if I was just "lucky".

I got it from RC Depot and have been working with him to resolve it. I'm impressed with the customer service experience so far. The owner responded from his cell phone from the road and shipped the missing part very quickly. You can't beat that. I just sent another message regarding the swash. We'll see how that goes.

That is good, hope you will get a replacement very soon.
