Default Align DS420 tail servo on my 130x

Hey I did the full tail servo mod to try and see how I like it thanks to AnthonyFerretti for coming up with the servo mod thank you

Weight with Gen aces battery 134g without the battery 102. Its not tail heavy which was a shock to me. Well it flies good I just need to get a better mount for it other than that I am pretty happy with it.

Do the mod you will need a tail servo mount cut into and cut it down where it can be don't have to do to much adjustment. As far as the wiring just solder the wires together on an old bad servo the rest is most adjustment and figuring out settings mines is sitting at stock tail settings. I love modding

Be blessed
Isaac

Holy crap, I thought this would turn out to be a joke or something. But by god you have a DS420 on your 130x tail! That's great that you got it to work in the spirit of experimentation if nothing else. I always say a little overkill never hurt anyone, but is there such a thing as going beyond overkill?

Some may tell you you are crazy, but I can appreciate it. I won't likely yank the servo off my 450 Pro V2 anytime soon, but good job! It's like putting a big block Chevy engine on a barstool. Crazy? Yes, but will it work? Yes.

TNT you are the bomb! (no pun intended)

I actually (and I believe many others), had that thought already but did not think it would work.

Great job proving us wrong!

Thanks!

Paulo

EDIT: I forgot to say, I believe there is a version of that tail servo with plastic gears. That would make it a bit lighter. It might be the 410. I am not sure.

Excellent Isaac! I'm guessing I'm going to have to work on the Cyclics since you got the tail servo worked out...

Lol none intended . I am that type of person who will give it a try before saying it won't work. Just like I have a 95 Neon with a Stratus 2.4 in it dealership said it wouldn't fit and I said it would and it did then I took it down to them to show it off and mouths drop in amaze. So I told them don't tell what I can't do I can show you better than I can tell . I just love Modding .
:-)

DS35 looks like it makes sense. I'll be pulling those measurements later today. Good idea.

I don't know about that mod. It might void the HH warranty!
Good job, Isaac.
