That looks great and I'm super jealous that you're going to the Alpine Heli Smackdown!!!! Beautiful surroundings and a bunch of amazing pilots would be pretty hard to beat.

Let's see... it's just 2.5 hours drive from my home!

But I can only go saturday, sunday I already have a family lunch booked

I was just superlucky today, for some reason I watched a video where Bert Kammerer and Tareq Alsaadi where joking (somewhere here in Italy where Bert was trying a SAB), then I googled Bert, I went to his FB page (Facebook, not Flybar!) and saw a post like "I'm packing for the Alpine Heli Smackdown").
Then I realized I had almost missed my first Funfly!

Bert's #1 flight from last year is one of my favorite videos. It's crazy how close to the ground he's doing all this stuff.

OMG, Rodney, I had never seen that one.

I think their brain is just different. No other explanation. How can you keep your spatial perception at that level? No way for a standard human being. Good for them.

Unfortunately the weather forecast is not as good as last year...

Well, I hope you get some decent weather so you can see these guys really tear it up.

It's a lot of fun. It's got one crazy piro though! Not the easiest to 3D but it does great. Amazingly durable. The tail is surprisingly solid. It can flip very tight. I have some vids in the nano section. It even does well outside.

Did you have an mCPx? I haven't looked on the nano forum yet, just wondering how the tail is relative to the mCPx.

I've finally started getting the hang of setting up the 130X and have been getting a bunch of flights in with it. I actually just hit 100 flights today. I freaking love the way it flies! I cannot believe how big it flies for such a small little guy.

I had 5 mcpX. I learned most everything on them. The tail is weak on the mcpX but it makes u a better pilot. The nano has a better tail but its weaker overall. So fun though.

Perfect day for flying early this morning... park was mostly deserted except for birds.

It's a different park, he is on the west end of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) while I am on the North East end. I seen some of his videos... incredible flying. I wish I can progress to even half that level next summer.

Many parks in the GTA are similar to the one I fly in... usually soccer, track, and baseball fields flanked by schools and high rise units. I am lucky to be just 5 minutes away by bike from this park.

Ah, I see. It was those buildings right adjacent to the park that made me think it was the same one, too funny. That looks like a nice park to fly in.

Those are some great pictures! I really like the inverted flight one. And of course, it looks sweet!
