Default Have you seen this video? Climbing expedition in Pakistan

[ame]http://vimeo.com/50029357[/ame]

This video is sample footage captured from an RC helicopter during the Mammut 150 Years: Peak Project: Trango Tower, Pakistan with David Lama and Peter Ortner, celebrating Mammut's 150th anniversary. This project is still in post production, please stay tuned for both the television show and short film edit. The amazing RC heli cam work was done by Remo Masina at Dedicam.tv, take a look at their site for more info. And the edit was done by Jason Bosch at NovusSelect.com. Stay tuned for more updates on the project.

Thats one God forsaken place.

I was surprised the copter didn't encounter high elevation winds, vortices, eddy's around all those rocks and mountains.

Awesome. I think the land/terrain is beautiful. Living conditions not so much.
Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely incredible!!!

I red an article in National Geographic Magazine when I was in High School about a team of climbers from Montana that summited Trango Tower. I have been fascinated with that granite spike ever since. Neat to see an RC Heli in that encironment!1

Thanks
