Default Dx6i and batteries...

Well to start, I bought my dx6i used. It came with the charge cable, but not with the batteries. I've been using regular batteries for now, but it's a pain .. lol. Considering going to get a set of rechargeables... is there a make/type/amperage that is better then others. Also, with said batteries, is it ok to use the included charge lead rather then an external charger?

I know I could order the spektrum batteries, but I'd rather goto a local electronics shop and buy from there.

Thanks.

I don't have a DX6i but I believe it uses AA x 4. I would go for the Sanyo Eneloop AA NiMH as they have extremely low discharge. If you don't use your Tx for a few months, you will still have a charge when you pick it up. Not true for normal NiMH.

As for the charger, yes, you can use it with whatever rechargeables (other than a lipo but I'm not sure if there are lipos for the DX6i) you get.

It's hard to beat the Sanyo Eneloop 2000, a little more money, but worth every cent.
