Also, as it turns out, after ALL of the work is done to the tail, including the DS95i and boom supports, my entire tail assembly only weighs 4g more than factory.

Enjoy the pics.

IMO the best looking 450X so far!

Magnetic canopy mounts?

Wow! That is one hell of a compliment, since there are some really great looking 450s in this thread. But.....I'll take it! Thank you.

Nope, not magnetic. They are just the Fusuno aluminum canopy grommets, and Ive got the aluminum canopy posts on there also.

Its all stock still but I got a few action shots of my first figure eight circuts and some inverted hovering.

This one isn't as clear as I was very high for my first inverted hover.

i gotta ask!...every time i see one of the orange 450ex canopies in a photo it looks huge. even when sitting next to another ex canopy...the difference between these two looks like 300 sitting next to the 450. i know the 450ex canopy is larger but i have been looking for a side by side...it's not like it's going to prevent me from buying one! tho the more i look at the orange one, the more i want it!
cheers

Got mine ready to go. Just got it last night. All done. Motor Loctite mod, 6V and tail step-down, Hot glue ESC, color scheme 95% (some changes down the road). Set up test 100% on spec.
Time for its madden flight on Sat at the latest.
