Excellent.... Just saw in your profile pics also your blinged out Nano.... looks very similar to mine... Although I preferred yellow blades with the yellow canopy.... Personally I like to color combine them... but first the Nano went off the green... now the 450X (although I will have a greenish canopy coming soon...)

Ps. the green is the paint... definitaly not MOSS.....

lol I'm not a big green guy but since my M.S. started messing with what colors my eyes focus on I didn't have a choice. lol Its kind of like a screw ball type of color blind in the focus side not color side. I used to love the Blade Blue but now its one of the colors my eyes can't see it when it starts to move around. Sitting still, I can see it. Goofy or what.

Dude I feel sorry for the MS, but I have to post my HUGE admiration for you....
Plus I think it's super you're competing (not to mention winning) in BB events.... and of course the 'not so important' RC helis....
Whatever color makes you see them...... as long as you can fly em !!!!!!!

All I have done was charge batteries and check for proper control function and went flying with both of mine. Having said that, #1 is on its way to HH with a second ESC failure in 63 flights!!! Maybe I should be emulating you my friend. I did have a spare ESC so this afternoon I cut the wrap around the diode and squirt it full of hot glue. I had to laugh at myself, doing the hot glue mod on a spare ESC while #2 needs it and 3 is gone to HH with a failed one. Now so I don't spook myself here, the motor on #1 is doing great, and I listen for any changes in the sounds it makes after 63 flights. The diode mod will wait until I do switch the tail servo

Flew like a extension of my arm. As you hear the groups comments. Until the rouge wind slamming me to the ground.

We had gusts up to 30-40mph. I was at fault pushing it and that close to ground, with that kind of gusts. I wasn't running my Fusuno canopy thank god. lol

But hey, I'll learn my heli and doing a BX set up from scratch now.

You are tha man, I would have scared myself out of flying in that kind of wind. Now we expect repair videos and details from you. The BeastX thing is not nearly as bad as what you might have read. I have bigger issues doing the 0 pitch gauge and such properly.

I plan on making this thread like my flight/repair log. I'm real anal on logs from my bodybuilding.

It's ok. It was a great maiden until the wind. I fly, I crash, I re-build, I fly.
Crashing gives me a reason to change color schemes. I already have the new one laid out.

Rebuild has started. Get my OEM Canopy, main frame and parts I don't have on hand Tue. Being a x-mechanic I'm used to working with wiring harnesses and seeing if I can pull a rabbit out of my hat and leave all the electronics set up and zip tied together in the build.

Thanks much.

Nope, good chance that won't go on until this fall or next year. But at least I have it and its ready for when I'm ready. Got 2 OEM one coming.

I'll have her up and ready for this weekend.

The 450X flies nice because of their light weight; however, they don't like heavy winds. For me, half the fun of this hobby is wrenching on them.

Ya we all (our group) pushed it on that day. Biggest bird out was my 450X and a Mini Titan (450). Our mini's (mCPx's and 9958's) it was all just keeping them from crashing. I never even put a battery in my Nano even though I had it along. lol
