![]() I am new to Helis and am considering a upgraded radio. I currently use an RDS8000 and am considering the SD10G for the upgrade, but am unsure about the flybarless capabilities. Can some of you users please shed some light on it for me.
Thanks. |

![]() To be honest almost all computer radios with any kind if heli programming will work. With today's fbl units even the most basic radio can work because all the hard work is being done by the unit not the radio. He'll I think u can even use like a dx5 and still fly. However that would be very basic control.

![]() +1 on the responses.
Where the SD-10G excels in the FBL arena is switch assignability. With the use of the CGY750, one needs to be able to switch 3 gyros from AVCS to rate mode to fully utilize the system. The SD-10G allows you to assign One switch to execute multiple mixes. So you can manipulate three channels with two mixes assigned to one switch. Also the gimbals on the SD-10G are fantastic. |
