Default 3 Bladed Props?

Hi all wondering if someone could lend some expertise.
I fly a 330 Quad with SK3 2228 1275kv motors on a 3s 35c 1800mah battery.
I currently fly with gem-fan slow fly 8x4.5 props and it does rather well, no heating of the motors and decent lift.
I was wondering if the 3 bladed props would add more lift/performance and if so what ones/size to try ?
Thanks.

You will get more lift if you choose the right prop but three bladed props are less efficient, there is also a much bigger range of very good props in the two bladed props.

If you want better performance with thos motors going to a 9x5 would possibly work but a 330 is not bigger enough for 9x5 props.

If I had your setup I would probably try these. http://www.rctimer.com/product_909.html

I've not had any luck with three bladed props on any multirotor I've tried on so far.

Most of them are a pain in the butt to get balanced good and then I've had them cause strange oscillations with certain quad frames in tight turns I've not ever been able to get worked completely out.
