Default This nice thing about 3S on the miniP

This nice thing about 3S 2200 on the miniP is that I can share the packs with 2 planes and my TREX450.

With a stretched miniP, is it really worth it to go 6S? I'm more looking for flight time than crazy power.

Rick

3s stretch with 350s is a lot of fun - very light so you can run lower HS, which in turn makes it deathly quiet, and long flight times. Try it first up and do a bunch of flying like that, then you can decide if you wanna tinker more and go 6s.
Yes, there's a very powerful Scorpion upgrade motor that goes in the Mini & the Warp 360.

I run the Pulse 3s 2250's in mine and I use them on two of my planks as well. I cant see me EVER going with any other option as sharing packs is a real money saver

I have two stretch mp, one on 6S and one on 3S. You do not need 6S for longer flight times. Like you I have plenty if 3S and it shares the packs with my 450X. The stretched mini protos is still one if the best 450 class heli IMHO.

Another stretch 3S Mini here. With moderate HS (70% TC on the YGE and 15T pinion) and smooth 3D I get 5Mins on 2200 packs, 6Mins on 2650 packs. And I also share the packs with another aircraft - doubled up in my Protos

I'm using 60, 65 & 70C, but that's just me - I like to use good gear.
Stock MSH Scorpion 2580.

I reckon you can't go past the Revolectrix 3s 2200s - they're great packs and well priced. After a 6:30 flight, I put back about 70% into them.

I´m using the stock motor and HK Zippy packs, 40C and 45C. In the Mini the packs stay cool no matter what I do, in the Protos they do get warm. No puffing so far at 50 charges per pack.
