Default Defective M2x6mm screw advisory

Here are the contents of an email I received advising of a defect in the M2x6mm screws in some recent kits.

Quote:
CJ Youngblood Ent.
We wanted to send out a quick notice about an issue we discovered in a limited number of new kits. Some defective 2x6mm bolts were used on new kits. This can result in the end of the bolts snapping off with little to no effort. These bolts are used on the front and center bearing plates.

We have fixed this issue on our end but some number of kits did get out with the bad bolts. If you receive one of these kits or hear of someone with a kit please let us know. We will fully warranty any parts related to this issue.

Our apologies for this issue. And thank you for helping anyone that comes across this issue with their new machines.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

Yup. Screw fell out of the bag--already broken off flush. Had to cut a slot to get it out of the fitting. I've sent the company a note.
