A BIG +1 FOR RON AND THE NEWB TOPICS.
was having some trouble with technical aspects and and just plain learning how to fly the 120. after reading over the topics a couple of times and a couple of PM`S, i`m now learning to fly this machine. these topics should be mandatory read for newbs!

thank so much ron

Default Thanks Mike

It's always great when someone takes the time to express there appreciation!
I know the new setup will be great once you get used to your new transmitter.

Why isn't this stickied? Needs to be.

Sure would eliminate a lot of redundant questions.

Great work, sir.

Post Thank You So Much!

Ron,
What a "treasure trove" of awesome instructions for beginners! I have learned so much from your thread!!!!
It really is amazing to me...the length that all you seasoned and experienced Heli pilots go to assist the "newbies," with everything we should know!
I hope that some day I may "pay it forward" also and help a pilot who was "bitten by the Helibug" like I was.
What an incredible group of HeliFreaks to become a member of!

Thank you again!

You will get your chance to pay it forward
Thanks Helibaby.

Wink You're Not Going to Believe This...

Ron,

Great to hear from you and thanks for the kind words of encouragement!

Believe it or not, I've had this very forum open for the past week or more!
I've been adding a few upgrades and replacing some old major parts...like the control board, main motor, tail motor and boom, stuff like that! I had the strangest problem with my 120SR at "spool up"...it would just burst for a second or so, no matter how much throttle it got? I even took a video of it "doing it's thing" and posted it on my YouTube site for other heli pilots to see! http://youtu.be/N12Qqd8-Uuw?list=UUO...PNGnTDiNS5gVpg

I think I got rid of the "bug" as she runs fine now...not sure what it was?

All the best,
HeliBaby1527
