Can you take a pic of your packs installed? I placed mine lower to where they are supported by the bottom plate as well. I am curious if your orientation will make strapping in the packs a little easier. Not that it is hard now, just could be easier.

That's also where I placed mine. On the bottom plate. I've been wondering about battery placement as well.

Oh and no worries at all about that M4 spacer thing. It's just a tip if anyone has trouble getting it in evenly.

I'll get a picture up tomorrow, guys. I'm taking a break and watching my Cowboys, now... doesn't look too good at this time.

Batteries.... One of my team mates, Michael wanted to know how this would work, so here it is.

Here is how I'm doing it.

It's pretty fast to install. The center strap goes through the upper and lower slots in the battery tray. I just leave a loop in the strap, then slip the battery through. The front and rear straps are fed through slots in the tray. Doing it this way, it looks like you can use a 12" strap.

Thanks Scott. I am going to try that and see if there is any difference. I have scorpion large straps that currently do not work they way I am strapping the lipos around the bottom tray. They are 30 cm. I will report back about the fit.

I'm using three scorpion extra large straps around the batts and the bottom tray.... Works a treat!

I tried your lipo layout scott. It won't work with the Scorpion Large (30 cm/12 "). The XL will be needed but from your pic they are very long.

Thanks Michael. I am going to stick with this because I can use scissors. Also it presses the batteries against the center and against the velcro.

Cool

The linkages are a little tie. Is this ok for the Rush? In my other helis the linkage drops by its own weight.
Any advise how to get them lose ?

The tightness is fine. They wear in nicely with use.

On the rush the links can be a little tight. Feel free to resize any links except the main grip links. Let these wear in.

I preffer tight links as you can size them perfectly. I have found on other helis that if the links are generally the right size you get quite a few that are too loose.
