Default 2 nd Invertix 400

I bought a second one. It is used. Now I have two.

I will set it up and go to the field with two. If I crash one I will have the second one ready ? Or I can fly them back to back.

Well I finally started building my second Invertix 400. The used kit I bought was not very good. The guy ground the frames to remove the landing gear one of the arms was bent.

So I dismantled it completely and replaced the frame with a brand new carbon frame, sanded the edges and put it together. I finished installing the motors, ESCs, power distribution board, BEC, nano wii board and connected the wires so far.

These kits are really nice to assemble, plug and play

I finished installing the receiver and wiring it tonight. I thought I would try something different for me and install a Spektrum AR8000 receiver and a Satellite and my DX9. I usually use Futaba. So it took me a little while to figure it out but I finally got it. I tested the motor direction. Had to reverse one motor. I installed two red LEDs up front. So now I just have to solder two green lights to my white lights in the back, install the stickers on the canopy and test it....

Well the maiden did not go so well. I finished it and the first battery I got it up and it flew pretty good. Put the second battery in and it flipped on its side and broke all the props ? I couldn't figure it out. Put new props on and the same thing. Went through all the settings and motor directions and they seem good. Put new props on again and tried to lift off ever so gently but it seems to want to flip on its side. It was windy so I put it in the garage and tried to just get it light on the skids but I can't seem to get it to lift off straight. I kept adjusting the trim but it seems to still not want to lift off properly. I tried using a Spectrum AR8000 receiver Satelite and my DX9. It is a full receiver model. I am going to switch it to a Futaba setup like my other Invertix and see if it solves my issues.

So did you ever figure out what was wrong with the used Invertix kit you bought. I bet the NanoWii board was damaged as well. I hope you did not pay to much for it.

I just got it back from Encore RC. Bobby said to send it back to him to look at. It was the Nano Wii board.

I have to test it now but it will be go to go. Yes I ended up paying more than a new one. Well it is new now.

Sometimes we have to forget the money side, and balance the pain with more flying fun.
Good news you have it sorted, have fun flying it
