![]() (as said in other thread)
not from the default. but the rudder should be set pro level from the start. its really slow. some even use neg expo on the rudder to get it more active. But due to the nature of quads (maybe even more with these 3D props ) the yaw rate will always be a bit slow when you are close to Zero , due to the relative low rotor speed. When you speed this thing around the rudder is a bit faster. PS: i'm interested with your comparison with the stingray. cyclic will prolly be much faster and the invertix will be rubberbanding more , due to prop reversing. If someone asks how my invertix flies, I say a bit like a low HS collective heli AND its unpowered ( bogging ) but Its alot of fun. personally when I first looked to get the stingray , but I'm glad I didn't. I wanted a quad to fool around and the invertix is ideal, you can crash (within reason ) just add props and you are good to go. whereas with your stingray its more brittle (your're flying 4 tails infact) and more setup if you dive it. ok now I'll stop hijacking ![]() |

![]() Thanks for your help. On one of the sites it talks about pitch pump props for the Invertix ? Has anyone tried them ?
The Stingray is lots of fun. I guess the main thing with any Heli or the Stingray is don't crash, then it wouldn't be a problem. It's pilot error. ![]()

![]() Just had my maiden flight. Just hovered it a bit on my front driveway. Flies awesome !! This is going to be lots of fun.
Just added a little trim. Goes to show you how good this model is. Great instructions and build video. Great kit. This is how a model should be when you buy it. Not having to fix and upgrade from the start. Great job Bobby Watts !! This thing is awesome. ![]()

and yes its awesome. I know about those props (don't have them, they are sold in germany so I could get some to test I guess) , seems to give more flight time but not so got for 3D. edit: it seems they now have a 3D version too . |

![]() Yes, test them and let me know what you think please !
Just came in from two more flights, WOW !!!!!!!!! This thing is FUN. I only have two 3S 2200 mah batteries so far. They came down with 3.83 volts per cell after 3:30 min. Maybe I could go 30 more seconds. Just flew two more flights. I added 30 seconds and they came down with 3.72 volts per cell.

![]() One guy on another site said about the pitch pump props.
-> BUT at least on my Invertix, they sometimes inflict unpredictable rudder movements in some manouvers so I donīt use them anymore... On the Invertix of a friend they work flawlessly... So, just try them above grass ;-

![]() Just received my 4S 45 c batteries from Encore RC. They look great. Look like they are very good quality.
http://www.encorerc.com/encorerc-evo...mah-45c-14-8v/ I got some more lights and blades as well.

![]() Just got mine last week and did some test flights in the backyard. And wow this thing is fun to fly and easy too. The only other multi-rotor experience I had was flying my Nano QX inside the house. I am really impressed at the Invertix build quality and how stable it is in a hover even though there is no stability mode. Can't wait to take this to the field so I can try some flips and rolls.
