My right servo isn't working anymore, before it stopped it was doing the same behavior as OP video, going full left, or doing some big and ugly twitch to the left. I know the problem is the top servo connector cause if I change the servos around the problem follows. I have 0 experience in soldering and electronics and am currently at a lost at what to do. Should I try to change the servo connector at the board? How can I be sure the problem is there?
Did you crash? If yes, then board is having a problem, small crack or something else.

I had the same problem, and indeed my board was cracked. But I had a very spectacular crash so I was not surprised.

Yes I had a not-so-bad crash, no cracks on the board at all, nothing looks smoked, but the servo connector on the board is definitely bad, wonder if I can replace it

For those that crash hard I suggest gluing a tiny carbon rod from the front of the servo bracket thing to the back of the mini's RX board. The crash ends up flexing the board and creating a crack in the pcb even with the top two screws. If the mini's frame had a upper screw holding the pcb then the crack would not happen. Ber careful where you glue the carbon rod though since its conductive and will short out any solder or pins it touches. Would be nice if some mod place sold a mini cp frame with a 4 point RX mount. Cracked RX's would be a thing of the past.

as I said, 0 experience in electronics and anything related!
Well, my board is still bad, so I got myself a multimeter and tried doing resistance checks on everything on the board, trying to find anything that doesn't respond. Don't ask me why, just an idea I had and not sure if what I found actually means anything!

Here are pics from each board side with the little thingys (dunno the name) that "failed" the resistance checks.

Questions:
- Does this mean anything?
- If I have in fact found the problem. Are these parts replaceable? What are their names and what should I look for? Don't tell me to look at radio shack or something like that because I live in Brazil, and, well, I dunno where to look for this stuff around here but I'll sure find it if I look enough.
- Tips on replacing them? Please? Pretty please?

Considering I will more or less be operating on the honor system, at least at first, I will have to require that the parts are provided or advance payment is made on anything that retails for more than a few dollars. I'd be upset to lose a few dollars worth of parts and my time, that's all I'm willing to risk being stiffed for at the present..
zzyzx, can I send you my minicp receiver? this forum isn't letting me send you a PM yet. Can you try PMing me?
Thanks!

Default Mini cp I have always the RX problem!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the RX problem same as you too~
I have sent it to China WALKERA factory fixed
And when the RX go back the problem is be OK!
But I play MINI CP fot just 2 months the problem is appear again!
And soon I replace a new RX and play just 2 weeks and the same problem is appear again!
I think that WALKERA should be responsible with MINI CP
Do someone think that the main problem is the battery charger?
I think that the charger is the most problem but I can not sure
Can someone who have the RX probelm try to use your old charger to charge your battery and fly mini cp see will the problem become
And then go to buy a new charger and a new battery and fly mini cp and see will the probelm will be OK!
Because that I have use my charger to charge my battery when it charge to full
The voltage is 4.21
But when I let it charge more just 30minutes the voltage will go to 3.95~
And when I use the voltage fly my mini cp the probelm will become
But when I use the voltage 4.21 the problem will not beacome
I think the WALKERA charger and battery is the worst thing in this heli world!

I had 4 Mini CP receivers, each of which had been fixed at least 3 times by Walkera. What I found was that the heli flies worse every time it has been fixed. The damage is likely to re-occur much earlier. I have decided not to send any receivers back for fixing anymore.

The receiver for the Super CP seems to be holding up quite well. I have had 79 flights so far without any problems. I heard that the Skyartec Wasp100 Nano CP is very popular in Taiwan. However, it seems to have its fair share of problems as well.

Can you repair QR-1 boards?
I have one that let out "magic smoke" after a small crash.

Thanks,
Nick

Talking mini cp receiver board

Are you still repairing mini cp receivers?

To cover the parts, I will have to ask for payment in advance for this service. It would be foolish of me to offer a better warranty o.n my repairs than the manufacturer offers on their own products, so I can't really. I can however assure you that your board will be flight tested and built to the best of my capabilities when you receive it and any special instructions will be addressed prior to receiving your parts. This service targets a niche within a niche, a few forum threads and word of mouth are the only ways it will be advertised, it's in my best interests to meet expectations.

I was also considering putting together a mini cp electronics repair kit if there was any interest. I would include some spare components, a parts placement diagram, and some notes on operation / troubleshooting tips. I was thinking of a price at or around $20 shipped. I think I would pay that price to avoid identifying, sizing, and ordering them myself but that doesn't necessarily guarantee there will be a market for such a kit.

I may have ****ed this guy around, but the only board I never sent back was a guy in Hawaii. That was cause I couldn't fix it. I just gave him poor customer service, my bad.
I don't fix boards anymore, but I'll still help where I can. My day job takes all my energy.
