Do the 270 blades fit the 230?

Ya trying to stretch the 230 isn't quite worth it. The tail motor limitations and such.

Is it worth putting on the 300x blades at 245mm long or are the Lynx 240mm blades a better bet? I don't fly 3D.

The lynx 240mm are made for the 230 s i think the chord is a little fatter like stock blades. I like them imo def worth the 13 bucks. More pop/responsive

Here yuz goes Joes.

Thought I'd upload the sketch (template) so you can resize it and print it out for the 230S.

I have a better one that I did up on the PC but can't find it darn it! :/ I'll post that template if I do.

My method.
1 degloss blade with 0000 steel wool.
2 whipe clean with distilled vinegar, I use white. This will clean it from small particulate and the vinegar helps the paint sick beleive it or not.
3 I use parchment paper, and put to strips of extra wide masking. The templates go underneath and I use a light box to trace/cut the template.
4 peel and place on blades.
5 remove first layer (color), paint, replace this pices after dry enough.
6 repeat until finished
7 balance blades...which is not an issue if you paint your coats evenly.
8 fly and be amazed
9 thank me for making you mesmerized and crash ark I totally got a bit distracted trying to get good looks at the top of the dischia and had close calls.

Inverted punch outs are awesome if you caneed do them right over a camera

PS
You can place masking directly on the blade, tape the template over it with clear tape, and cut away...but keep in mind you have to have a super duper steady and consistent hand not to accidently slice into the blade.

Also always use a NEW razor for each project if you can, and toss the old ones in a once used (tips dull) stash.

Just couple pics of mine, Just got three days ago, got some color added before i flew it and glad I did, these 36 yr old eyes do not see so well

Does those lights on the Canopy show the blades well enough to fly? I would love to do some lights on mine, i have only night flown airplanes

It seen a birds nest and said Im going home.. LOL
looks like a perfect landing up there, what all was broke? My dad has landed many planes in the trees in our old yard, most time the plane is fine until you start throwing a rope to get it then it gets damaged.
