Default Which gimbal?

I just got back into the quad thing after about 2-3 years when they 1st got popular.

I just got a DJI f550 Hexa, has a Naza M w/ GPS, on 4S with a JR 9 channel Rx. I want to use my Go-Pro 3 BE on it. I am not into FPV or any of that fancy stuff you younger guys can do. I just want a nice steady video.

I was looking at this 1, FEIYU MiNi 3D 3-Axis Brushless Gimbal. But not sure if I need a 3 axis or if I can do what I need with a 2 axis.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Eugene

A 2-axis gimbal can do a very nice job, but if you want the ultimate in rock solid video, the 3-axis is your gimbal of choice. I have one of the Feiyu Tech gimbals that you mention, on a 615mm Aimdroix frame, and I've been nothing but happy with it. It worked perfectly right out of the box and doesn't get all spazzed out in skidding, laterally high G turns, like some gimbals do.

SWEET!!

Is there any special programming to do? I noticed the 2 "F1 & F2" outputs on the Naza. Are they for the servos on the gimbal?

Sorry about the questions, just never done anything like this.

Don't be sorry! This is what the forum is for. You can use your Naza's FI/F2 outputs, or you can plug the Feiyu straight into your RX. The Feiyu needs three channels - one for operation mode, one for yaw and another for pitch.
