I just had it working without problems. Can anyone try to replicate this please. When connecting through WiFi, turn any other device you have linked to Phantom before off!! It works if I only have one device on or linked, if I have my phone and tablet on at the same time I cannot get a camera live view.

It is known that only 1 device can be hooked to the wifi extender at one time.

I had the same issue with my 1 month old Phantom Plus. I finally sent it to DJI. They changed out the WIFI unit, and it works great again. Luckily it was under warranty.

I just experienced this same issue after flying fine with no problems for a couple weeks on my brand new vision plus. I did have a minor crash with a med impact from about 25 feet. popped the battery out and broke a propeller. i fixed it and flew today. i immediately realized the issue which was weird cause i tested the camera on my desk to make sure things were working. As soon as the copter moved a few feet away the signal started freezing and dropping out. it seemed like it would work better when i hovered right in front of me with it pointing away but when i turned towards myself the signal dropped. I tried the lower setting and it didn't really seem to help. It records fine so i was relieved. thought i messed up the camera.
Some other related info: While i was working on things last night i also tried to get my samsung tablet to work, so i tried different versions of the app. couldnt get it 100% but is there any way that could effect the camera? Ill plug it all in tonight and see if I can update to the newest firmware.
why would this happen all of a sudden? I never had a prob even at the highest resolution setting at 30fps.

Check the ribbon cable connections, one may have become dislodged in the crash.

Hello All,
I just recently purchased a Phantom 2 Vision plus, all i can is this thing rocks when it works. I wanted to add to this thread and provide an update since i am also experience the same problem that my live camera video feed stops after a few minutes on a good day but usually about 30 seconds.

This drone was just purchased a few days ago and followed on the instruction to calibrate the compass and all the pre-flight checks. The few times i did fly the drone is had no problems, i would receive all the telemetry on my device but the video would stop, I would receieve info about the gimbal and information back about the battery status, so communication is working.

I have done a number of things.
1) updated all the software to the latest version with the phantom vision software.
MC At 3.06
Zen IMU 1.0.0.4
2) Tried a few different devices (Ipod touch at 7.1, LG smartphone @ 4.4.4 and a Nexus 7 updated to 4.4.4. With the smartphone i did try run in airplane mode and wifi still working, got the same thing.
The nexus is brand new as i purchased this just for this application.
3) I have adjusted the preview quality to 320x240-15 fps still got the same issue.
4) Turn down the capture quality to all low settings on the camera - still same issue.
5) Tried a new micro SD card - San Disk 8 GB Ultra (30 Mb/s). Still same issue.
6) Shut off all wifi in the house to check in interference - same issue.
7) Rebinded the camera and wifi - same issue.
7) I have not crashed this thing into anything, as i have not flown it much because of the video problem.

I have not contact DJI yet, but from the boards i hear there customer support is terrible. Luckily i have purchased via B&H photo but have not contacted them yet as I am attempting to do my own troubleshooting.

I am rather tech savy as i work in IT so this drone is pretty easy to setup and configure.

Not sure if anyone has any addition steps or suggestion as I would be open. I am not sure what DJI will even provide for support.

I would send it back in. There are many devices in the wifi link to your phone. The repair process is to start replacing the items one by one until it works.

I had this loss of video problem happen to me for the first time in ages. But this time I know what happened - I was wandering around outside with it taking some pictures, and I moved within range of a known Wi-Fi network that my iPhone had the credentials to connect to. The phone switched Wi-Fi networks on me!

I went in to Settings and switched back to the Phantom's network, and then it was OK after I started the app over.

Default No FPV Video - Phantom 2 Vision

Hi all,
A few months ago I bought a Phantom 2 Vision+ drone. It's working fine for a long time, but one day I can't see more live video. I'm using an 5s Iphone or Ipad Air (tested on both devices).
Both IOS applications (iphone and ipad) and drone firmwares (including camera) updated to the latest version.
In the IOS application I can move gimbal, start/stop recording, take photo, see telemetry (distance, altitude, battery level, etc), but NOT FPV VIDEO...
The drone never hit, he was treated with great care. Please, can any one help me to find the problem?
Forcing FC200 camera firmware upgrade give me video for some days and later the same issue...

Have you recently updated the iOS to 8.0? If so this may be the issue.

Hi, I bought a P2VP at June 26th (less than a week ago), did all the recommended procedures, software installs and firmware updates prior first flight, but unfortunately I got the same issue. I`ve tried it on iPhone 5, Samsung S3 mini, Asus A7 Tablet - same thing. Best case scenario initially the live feed starts and freezes 10 sec later. Worst case it doesn`t start at all. I`ve contacted the official DJI support and they urged me to send the Phantom back to them, if it was purchased online. Since it was not I contacted the local dealer who doesn`t seem to be into the problem at all.
I`m totally dissapointed with DJI who obsiously are aware of the problem. This is not a cheap toy, and we the customers are not beta testers.

So your local dealer blew you off and it's DJI's fault?

Have you tried rebinding the wifi unit to the aircraft using the QR code on the box?

I did. No success. I spoke to another dealer who seems to be more familiar with this problem and he claims it is an issue between the camera and the gimbal caused by the flat cable connecting them. One of the pins should be loose. I will bring the aircraft to him and see what happens. I`ve lost my warranty anyway, since I had to open it for cleaning after a failsafe landing gone wrong two days ago.

Just replaced the Wifi module, video is back.

The new replacement Wifi Module is different, in that it has cooling holes in the case.

It does get warm when running.

Fix Cost $189

Default Has DJI fixed anyones no FPV problem ?

I have not been able to use the FPV (Camera) on my DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus. I was wondering if anyone has had theirs fixed by returning it to DJI?
I have latest software and all cables are snug, but no picture showing on my Android or Ipad. All was well until I tried to use my Phantom this spring after storing it away during the winter.

I am thinking of sending it off to DJI for repair but do not know if they have fixed this before.
