Default Nitro stingray

I was planning to modify my current stingray to nitro engine. Does anyone have any idea of how i could proceed. For instance, how do i modify modify the TG Multi to control the motor's valve? Help is much needed!!!

Looks cool but..... not too sure how the power to weight ratio works out ??? Which would be more powerful ?

Base on a heli, you could just try to hook up a throttle servo to the TG multi ESC output channel and adjust the throttle curve in the TX.

I guess the throttle servo could be powered directly from the rx or passed through the TG, the TG itself won't alter the throttle output.

Instructions and videos on the stingray are the best I have seen, understanding these will help even if deviating from the norm.

I would have no idea on how to mount, an engine, set the gearing etc. to me this would be a bigger challenge.

Just checked electricity seems a lot simpler for this size!

Gearing will depends on the engine used. The one in the video looks like a car engine. They usually run at a much higher RPM than heli engines but still lower than the stock motor.

Yup i was planning to use a buggy engine model MAX 12TZ-T3. Comparing to other nitro engine. buggy engines are much powerful for their size.
