Default New Align 250X

Heard of rumours of Align bringing out a 250X swinging 250mm blades?
Could this be true? Would you buy one?

Hmmmm, interesting. I have my mind set on an Oxy2, but I'd love to know more about a new Align 250X.

I'm stoked to see this size-class is continuing to be being developed.

It would be cool if this turns out to be true I wondered if they would release a 250X recently and I see I am not alone

I just hope it can use the same battery I have a few now and like the fact that I use them on my 230s as well as my Align Trex 250's

I guess we wait

A true 250 size T-Rex250X would be nice but I don’t see it somehow, the new T-Rex250 I saw was just servo changes and nothing else.
A new 250 with just new servo’s will not have people upgrading, at most people may buy the new servo’s as replacement for broken / worn-out ones.

How can you complain about Align, when you don’t even own an Align helicopter?

Okay so you have bought a Lada and replaced a lot of the parts with Volkswagen parts, now you expect it to perform like a Volkswagen even though all these parts are hanging off a Lada chassis, good luck.

I have a 250 T-rex Pro. What is the issue with the head geometry? I have it apart for repairs at this time. Anything to look for on the rebuild?

I really don’t know, but best advice is start again with the real thing.
You have spent enough time and money now to get the real thing, well if you enjoy tinkering rather than flying then you can keep trying till you get it flying good luck.

It's not that the frame will fix anything, it's just that starting with the real thing is so much less trouble and expenditure. I've done things both ways, and I can promise you that starting with Align right from the start is much better on both counts. I spent a ton of money and struggled for a long time to get my CopterX/Align hybrid 250 to fly correctly.

With that said, however, you can get things to work with the frame you already have. You just have to follow all the known rules for setting up the head, swash, links, servos, rx, etc.

Thats the point im trying ti make. The frsme has heehaw to do with aligns poor head geometry and i want to know if they are ever going to fix it.

The problem is that even with the servo to swash links on the 2nd servo horn hole (10mm instead of 12) the controm loops are just on the edge of being i. The optimum range.

There are stacks of posts of people struggling to get into the recomenfed rsnge of there fbl (vbasr beastx. Zyx just to name a few)

These are posts from slign users not copterx.

If align are adressing this aswrll as there sloppy tail. Ill buy it.

While copterx isnt of best quslity. My poor choice of servos hsve caused the biggest ptoblems.

The heli will still fly with things not bei g i. Thr bst range id just rsthet have more resolution

That is just crap, if you look at my pic below you will see I am using hole 4 on the servo horn and everything aligns perfectly to give me the correct FBL range.

Yeah, my 250s are just fine, so I don't know about this servo hole issue. What I do know is that with all the Align parts you now have, you should be able to set up and fly your 250 even though the frame is still CopterX.
