Default esc's ..bl heli.

hy, ive been off the scene with rc stuff for a yr or two for various reasons, i have a couple of 450 quads but they have older turnigy plush 25 or 30 amp esc's in them .. reading around now with bl-heli stuff and one shot etc , is it possible to upgrade mine by reflashing or am i best upgrading and changing to more modern esc's . also is there a noticeable difference with the new stuff?
thanks glenn

For me it was noticable especially when dealing with vibrations, but there are harware limitations. I don't know what microprocessors are in the plush esc, or if they can even be updated easily.

There are limits to what ESCs can be updated, and this has to do partly with CPU speeds on the ESC.

Here are some good resources about oneshot, multishot, dshot, and whatnot. I only link to that blog because they have guest writers pull all this stuff together in an easy to understand format.
