Mine is still flight-worthy. I must get it out again soon, I'll need to spice it up a bit though as it was my trainer

All right 3 lol. I just put a CF version together and test flow it Sunday it felt really slow on cyclic need to look in to that

I'm still flying my plastic 550. Waiting for spring .. its still a little too cold to fly.

Need parts for a Hurricane550...
Hi guys! Yes I am flying it... well, trying for now... I recently got an used Hurricane550 and I crashed it really bad couple of days ago (yes, newbie ) I found some parts, but I wasn't able to find others, if somebody has spares that doesn't need, I'll buy them, please... I need minimum:
Elevator lever (square tip one) Main grip Tail boom Tail supporter pipes, clamp and guides... Tail case (Belt) Tail pitch slider......... My second day in HF! Thank you guys... |

Let's see how the help comes. There was/ is a store in Germany/ Austria that had a ton of parts, but the problem was they weren't shipping out of Europe. I had to have them shipped to a family in the UK then to me. It was like 3 days delivered in the UK

Thank you all guys, I'm getting parts from everywhere, special help received from this thread... amazing community here is the "Before" picture of my Hurricane550 now on the ground, but with all this help, I'll post the "After" picture very soon, once she is back in business. Geez, didn't know anybody was still flying these things. I gave up the hobby when flybars went away. I check in here about once a year now. I still have 2 Hurricane 425's a 500 stretch on a Headhunter frame, and a 550. Haven't flown any of them for about 3 or 4 years. I still have a new, never built Headhunter frame too.
