Default FBL Mounting Tape

It has been a while since I bought any tape for mounting a FBL unit.

Is it the 3M 4011 that everyone is using?

I have not seen the 4011 in stock in my area in around a year. Home Depot carries 411 which has a stronger adhesive and seems to work the same as 4011.

I have gotten my tape at Lowes the last 2 years. Been using the 30lb 3m black tape and haven't had any issues with it.

My friends and I have been using this on all of our helis, nitro and electric for a few years now and it works awesome. You can still get it off when you want to but my vibration issues went away after I switched from so called flybarless unit mounting tape to this stuff.

I use the 4011 Permanent Outdoor tape also. My 360CFX had the RROD (Right Roll O'Death) until I changed the FBL tape. For FBL's I use two layers but it may not be necessary.
