I put my neuron on an old trex500 CF edition, all stock. It worked well, I don't think I ever had the cut outs I was getting on previous models. The motor bearings on the old BL500L exploded after many years of neglect, so I put a BL500MX motor on it. First flight, the phantom cut outs came back. Very frustrating as the heli performs so much better with the new motor. Maybe the issues some of us have had are related to motor noise.

I too was suffering from random cut-outs. I finally traced the problem to a poor connection where the ESC wires plugged into the Neuron.

FYI, I changed from a 18 to 19 pinion to give the gov more headroom. Throttle is open 83% now. Governing is very well now. I can chew 3-5kw out of the 6S setup and the rpm stays within 3% range
