Default Need help with ZYX-M please.

Hi guys.
Tarot ZYX-M on a flamewheel 450 quad. Several issues going on. First is it will not connect with the latest version of the software. I had to download an early version 1.1. The motor test does not work but every other part of the program seems to work. Secondly I didn't remove the positive wires from the ESC connectors until much later in the setup. Another issue is that I didn't synchronize the ESC 's until after removing the positive wires from the ESC connectors.
The optional Bluetooth module is not connecting with the flight controller.
I am using an old DX7 and 2 satellites and programming on a win 7 64 bit laptop.
Could I have fried my FC by not disconnecting the power from the ESCs? All it wants to do is flip over if it arms at all.
Thank you in advance.
Pete

Default Update.

Hi guys.
Just to let you know, the multi rotor flies great. The major issue was a typical rookie mistake by not throttle programming the 4 ESCs. The other is that it seems Tarot version 1.04 firmware only connects with the earlier version of the software. I was advised on another forum to not upgrade the firmware. There is some serious problems with the latest issues of the firmware that a lot of users are reverting back to the version 1.04. It flies great and with a 3S 5000 Mah battery it gets 20 minutes of flight time before the first level of low voltage is indicated. The GPS is rock solid even in 15 MPH winds and changing gusts. The auto return home has landed on the exact spot every time it has been tested.
The Bluetooth module still does not connect. I imagine that the older firmware is the culprit. When Tarot or if Tarot fixes it then I will upgrade.
All I need now is more channels, a gimbal and a camera.
Pete
