Default Head Wobble

I am looking for ideas. I have a wobble in the 1700 to 1900 (worse at 1900) headspeed range. At 2150 and 1050 (6s) I have no wobble. I went from DFC head to the swash driven head and wobble reduced. I then added more shims in the head but that did not help. Head seems pretty tight now. My torque tube gear mesh seems perfect, just a very small amount of play. I played with cyclic gain (IKON) and it made no difference. Running 720 MS Composite blades. I am going to try 1500 and 1600 head speeds. It looks to me like a mechanical resonance. Not sure what to try next. Thanks in Advance!!

I have the same problem. Using stock dampeners with 2 shims on each side.

Same Problem Here
Heli shakes pretty bad in normal, slightly less in idle up 1 and almost gone in idle up 2

headspeads
1850 normal and take off
2050 idle up 1
2150 idle up 2

change blades (tail and main)
Change torque tube
change rotorhead (switch from dfc to swash driven)
change pinion, main and crown gear.
Change bearings and main shaft
Change flybarless unit (mikado silverline for mikado v bar neo)
and no changes, still shaking.

i will change the tail shaft and tail hub tomorrow

I love how this heli flyes, and worth the effort, but Im getting short of ideas.

Any one come up with a solution to the head bobble? I am using stock dampers. It sure flies good at 2150 headspeed, auto's well but I'd love to do some lower head speed flying.

Default Finally fixed the head wobble

I have finally solved the wobble problem on my Agile 7.2.
Previously any headspeed below 2200 and the heli would wobble.
I am now running 1900 and no problem.
I replaced the stock dampers with Align HN7024 dampers and the wobble is gone.
The Align dampers are a direct fit.

Thanks UPSDOC. I'll give it a try and see what happens.

I used the 80 hardness dampers, however I only sport fly.
I think the 90 would be fine too, considering how hard the stock KDS dampers feel.
