The new parts replenishment program is working! There is no reason an EXO can't be in your fleet!

Dudes! I'm ready to pull the trigger this Friday (finally). But I'd like to know what the current issues are if any. I.e. Extra hardware I may need for something that maybe some have experienced. Would like to be ready for it before I come across it

I'm betting that the first run gave some feedback and the kits are ready to roll now. My problems seem to be one-off and I still think the positives are so much more than the few negatves. Flies like stink!

Be prepared to be gentle with your canopy and use plenty of grease on the canopy buttons. I'd assume you're using a HW--the 120V4 works fine on mine. I do use a fan. Dan

I've heard about the canopy mounts. I wonder if graphite would help loosen them up also or if there is another option. I'm not afraid to modify if need be.
Is the canopy not flexible enough? I'm usually pretty careful with my canopies but if it's like my Trex 470 canopy and chips fall off out of nowhere that will be a big let down considering how much they cost.

Also, how many battery trays does the kit come with?

Canopy mounts are okay. I just put grease on mine. You do have to push and make sure they're locked.

The canopy mounts will break-in, after they have been installed and removed a few times. I put TriFlow liquid on mine, which helped.

It is very important to note that the canopy does not need to be removed (and really shouldn't be removed) to change the battery. I only take the canopy off for maintenance/lubrication.

eXo Canopy Removal (0 min 27 sec)

The battery is installed very, very quickly and easily from the bottom of the aircraft-much more rapidly than can be accomplished on a helicopter that requires removal of the canopy to change the battery.

Ok, I ordered a motor/blades/green kit.

10% off at experience for the fourth.

How could I pass up that deal?

Now I just need to sneak it (and the build) by my girlfriend. Is it just me or do all heli freaks have their new toys delivered to work?

"No honey, that's the same heli with a different canopy"--not sure how many more times that old line will work...we're gonna find out

If she complain open here wardrobe and start counting.
Good luck with your build as its a nice heli to build, just be thorough with the bladegrips and hub as its important the hub i clean and the grips run smooth.
