I checked my Atom 500 C.G. last night with battery and canopy on, it was head heavy, not tail. Is this typical to this heli ? If not, any suggestion to move C.G backward ?

Battery in use is Zippy 2700mAh 35C battery (477 g)
HW 80A ESC is mounted on the right side, vertically, behind the motor
Full size tail servo in use

I was using a 3300 mah lipo on my Atom 500. It was head heavy so I moved the ESC as far backwards as I could and also mounted a Scorpion BUG near the boom. That solved my cg problems.

I moved ESC backward until C.G. is correct. Here is the final ESC location.

cyclo Registered Users Join Date: Jul 2012	I was using a 3300 mah lipo on my Atom 500. It was head heavy so I moved the ESC as far backwards as I could and also mounted a Scorpion BUG near the boom.
