Default Copter X CX 600 PRO TT - What power system?

First - I have just purchased this CX 600 heli and I am trying to figure out the power system. I have seen 510kV motors that will require a 12s system with two 6s batteries in series. I have also seen 1200kV motors that will presumably use 6s power systems. So what standard power systems are there for the 600 helis?

Second - why do we need to have a HV servos? Is there a reason we have to use higher voltages on the 600? I was planning on using a BEC set to 6V for RX and servos. Is that ok with a 600?

Appreciate any comments, responses recommendations.

Well depends a bit on what you want:hard 3D works best with 12S, with 6S you can do decent sports flying and mild 3D but will need good packs.

If you can keep the weight down that will make life on 6S ( and 12S) much easier.

I fly Futaba's 451 on 6V, works fine for me. Have HV Servo's on my 690SX, make's it pretty agile.
