Default Finally, Goblin 700 setup on Jeti with 720 black.

Well, after procrastinating and waiting and building other things and procrastinating some more, then waiting for a new receiver....

I was able to finally set up the Goblin 700 using the Jeti transmitter. So officially the only thing I need my Dx9 for is some bind and fly units and 180cfx...

Now I set up the unit as per the guide here, and all functions work well. I redid the stick scaling and everything is 100/100. All my functions work perfectly to change tail and cyclic gain.

Now since I redid stick scaling and the throttle channel is going from the Skookum unit to the esc, do I need to calibrate the esc again?

Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to go out and give it a try!!!!!

Hi, do you know if there is any way of using Ikon or Spektrum receivers with the Jeti Transmitter, say with a Jet Satellite. I guess it's been done.

I think you misunderstand...

I removed the spektrum satellites and bound a Rex7 receiver to my Jeti.

Then in the 720 I set the receiver type to UDI.

It has no link to spektrum any more.

I am just wondering if I need to recalibrate the throttle, but since the throttle signal is coming from the Skookum unit and it reads -100/+100 there does not appear to be a need to do that. I also set the max throttle and idle throttle in the governor and updated the model size.

Hi, I did understand, but was still wondering if any one had come up with a way of interfacing Jeti to Spektrum. Also interested as to why you have gone to Jeti - they certainly look very well made.

Several reasons.

1) integration. The ability to change settings in the controller from the radio is amazing.
2) features. It has multiple features I need to allow me to fly stuff like this...

Once you start getting into complex planes Jeti makes it very easy....

Update!

Everything worked fine. Flies better than ever.

Still that annoying elevator bobble but does not affect flight.
