Exclamation Xtreme, lynx, MH or blade Aluminum upgrades?

I am thinking about a aluminum tail case just cause tired of the stock plastic one moving and the screw coming loose all the time... was looking online and mostly just see the Xtreme one.. has anyone used it. or would a Microheli or Lynx one be better? if i change the case what aluminum tail case pitch lever will work with it? stock one or any aluminum not sure why it doesn't come as a combo I did find one combo on ebay it has the micro heli tail case, tail shaft, grips, lever, the lil round thing the lever moves not sure what its called and its all for $40.00

thanks for any tips or suggestions

I have all Lynx DFC head from swash up and the Lynx tail case. Still using the stock tail pitch slider for over 100 flights now and no issues. Very happy with the Lynx upgrades for this bird.

On the 180 I like Lynx stuff the best. I tried out an Extreme head and swash. I didn't like the incredibly tiny screws they use on the head. Had a really minor crash and the whole head block twisted in the middle making it unuseable. Looks like they were going for light weight at the expense of reliability or making the head block a fuse to mitigate damage for the rest of the head components. Replaced it with a Lynx dfc. Swash has been fine though. Never tried any other Extreme parts so can't comment on tail case. Only have one MH part and it is the front boom mount. Seems to be okay but frankly if the Lynx part had been available I'd have bought it instead. The Lynx tail case is nice. It has a pinch bolt which keeps it tightly clamped on the boom.

I like Xtreme tail case, need to use Xtreme tail pitch lever, I even use their tail boom, TT bearing fits tight, they are way cheaper than other brands and good quality.

When I was into the 130x I really liked the Xtreme parts. Have you checked out www.tmkarc1hobby.com? Looks like they are selling their Xtreme stock off.

Yes I have purchased some items from them. i will check it out.
Microheli seems to be having sales on there stuff to not sure why... while the 180 had been discontinued it would have made sense but since the 3 headed one is out not sure why... maybe swash would make sense but everything else should be the same
