There has been a ton of stuff published on the mini V and the BK servo compatibility. I ran a bunch of tests with various servos on not only the mini V, but also with the full sized blue and silverlines. BK servos have enough induction feedback that they can shut down each of the Vbar models. The Neo wasn't out at the time I did my testing, so I can't say how they are affected.

I tried capacitors that have been mentioned, and that did not resolve the issues for me. The only solution was to change my power source to a Western Robotics super hercules BEC pro that isolated the servo power and the Vbar signal lines.

Another reader also found the issue carried over to his Neo with the Vlink sat and had similar issues. He tried CC BEC pro and the WR Hercules BEC and it would shut down on the Castle BEC, but not on the WR.

At present, I am still running my 690 on the WR BEC with the BK 7001 servos and have not seen any problems, but I am changing out my servos to Xperts or Protecs.

Yes, if the receiver is on the power buss then yes it can be affected as well, a Vlink NEO will not experience this.
You have two solutions, use the WR BEC that goes in line and takes the back EMF hit so the Mini does not, or buy different servos that don't have this issue....Ron
