Default Is a Trex 700N worth anything these days?

My 700N has been on the shelf now for way too long. I've seen these threads before and I hate that it's now mine. I've been out of the scene for almost 2 years and my other hobbies need some funding. I hate to even ask this on here as a once everyday HF surfer but yes I'm being lazy and curious if there is any value at all in these anymore???

Align 700N V2
Really Nice Fusuno custom canopy as well as stock one w/Booya mounts
FBL RJX conversion w/FBL arms and linkages for correct geometry
Beast X
Spectrum 7100R
Stock Align Servos with metal wheels
Multigov pro
Fresh Align 91 motor w/less than 10 flights
LiFE pack
Header tank

Clean well maintained heli by experienced builder/operator. Hasn't been in the dirt in a long time. On craigslist it seems 450's are asking stupid prices but based on the research I did I'd be happy if I could get in the $500 neighborhood. Is that even realistic? If not I'm just going to keep it in hopes my hobby circle will come back around which is normally does. I've always been a sport/scale flier and this heli will still more than adequately perform my mission but I do realize it's now approaching dinosaur status....not really compared to my Rappy 50 which is still an absolute blast to fly and to this day my go to heli.

Sell it for $300 and use the money elsewhere
The reality is that the motor and all the electronics are slowing going to sh!t.
When / if you ever decide to try to try to fly it again, you will find the motor is gummy, the servos don't move or some other bit is busted.
Before ou know it, you have spent the cost of a new heli trying to get this old one flying

And, then, you crash it.

I went through this whole process with a GMP Cobra.
It sat in the attic for 25 years before I decided to get back into heli.
I sure as sh!t wish I had started with anew heli.
That was 8 years ago.

Now, I sell stuff that sits on the bench for more that 6 months.
And, I sell it cheap.

Thanks in all reality I knew this was the case. I should of clarified. It's been started a few times here and there just not flown in a while. To be honest I had a bad maiden with another heli right after I converted this one to FBL with the RJX set up and I've been scared to maiden it even thought it's ready to go.

At $300 you would be taking a bit of a beating. Typically you see them pop up for $500 on up. Airframes go right about $250, the same goes for the motor and pipe. There's $500 right there not including FBL, servos, gov, sats ect....

Getting rid of it cheap will make sure it moves fast and doesn't sit until it's worthless

I'll snag it for $500 if you want to sell it.

It has more value if you go out and fly it then you'll realise why you kept it. I thrash my Trex Nitro although I did update it a bit with my own frame design ;-)

My black nitro hasn't been off the shelf yet.

Hi,

Your stuff is perfectly valid to fly There are plenty of spares for this bird, everywhere, its rock solid and more than enought to have fun.

I even compete with them (700N V2 FBL) with good results in F3C. And will keep doing it.

No need for the latest state of the arte fancy material to have fun and keep improving and learning, a far as the machine flies well , its in good shape and there are still spares for it.

The new hobby inside the hobby lately is keep selling and buying and upgrading stuff more than having fun with a good equipment and invest money in fuell or batteries.

If I were in the states , 4 sure I will make u a 500 $ offer for your bird....

If you're willing to part it out, I'll buy the airframe off you.
