Default Lynx Sport Belt Conversion

Hey guys, anyone running the Lynx Sport Belt on their 180s? If so, how's it working out?

I was talking with a few members over at RCG, and they seem down on the belt conversions for the 180s. They feel the belt introduces too much drag. Sort of bummed me out since I just pulled the trigger on two Sport Belt Conversion kits.

Take a test ... what can I say I have 2x 180cfx all lynx, one with Pro Belt and another stretched with TT .... I prefer the one with TT, which if well mounted is softer.....
I believe the TT is the most recommended system for a heli of this size .... the problem of 180 and the upgrades made by Lynx is that there is no bearing holder inside the tail boom ... that is the big problem

......but I do not see any problems in the version with Pro Belt....and the tail case was far better projected.....I believe belt version was made for guys fly hard 3D with high head speed.

Hi guys, thanks for giving me your thoughts on the belt.

@Robeau16, do you have the Pro Belt or the Sport Belt?

If you are not a hardcore pilot the pro tail is good for you. Loose the belt a bit and you'll get decent low hs sport flight time say about 4 minutes.

I make my own tt slipper with 2mm Carbon rod and lynx or microheli metal ends.

Allows slippage when needed.
