Default Quest Inpaction and Neo Caliber helis

Hi,

It's so quite here.

Anyone flying Quest Inpaction and Neo Caliber helis, or only Nick Maxwell flies Quest Inpaction?

They must be great helis. I wonder why there is no forum for he Quest helis, or why not putting back Kyosho forum to a normal forum and joining it with Quest, rather letting it in the Antique forum...

I am ordering a brand new Neo Caliber, and thinking to get a 2nd hand electrified Caliber 90 v06...

Rüdiger Feil Also flies a three blade Neo Caliber E6-550. I believe they are great helicopters.

I'd love a Caliber 90v06.

They are a current produced and supported helicopter and should therefore be in the normal section of the forum.

Indeed it was my point:
Admins, would you mind opening a forum for Quest helicopters?

By the way, Rüdiger finished 1st in the 2nd round of German Nats a week ago, and 2nd in the 1st round a month ago. All with his 3-blade Neo Caliber 6S 550/600, and against 700-800 class helis!

My Neo Caliber has arrived. Still waiting for some parts, hopefully I can finish it soon. It will be a 2-blade stretched to 600 class.

I was really tempted to get the 2nd hand electrified Caliber 90 v06, but I will try the Neo Caliber first whilst sticking to my current JR fleet for FAI.

I did a build thread on the Impaction, beautiful heli! https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=452046

Sadly there's just not enough traffic to open a dedicated Quest forum sonthe Kyosho will have to do ...

Hi John,

May be not necessarily a new dedicated forum. My suggestion to the admins is to change the name of this forum from "Kyosho" to "Kyosho and Quest Helis", or so. AND move this forum from "Antique out of production and vintage helicopters" to the normal path like the other heli brands of JR, Hirobo, SAB etc. I think this forum really deserves to be moved to there because Quest helis ate still produced and supported, whereas the older Kyosho helis are still lived. More or less the similar situation like Hirobo.

That would be something, wouldn't that?

By the way I had read and followed your build thread. Well done! That was one thing that made me tempted of Caliber v06...

I would assume the Quest helicopters are quiet on the forums because they are usually flown by F3C pros who don't require to much outside help. They are also very mature designs which would not provide owners with many problems.

Inspite of this they certainly deserve thier own section in the main forum.

Although not in the main forum, at least not in the "Antique out of production ..."

I will post about my Quest Neo Caliber 600. Not a build thread, but at least something to share...

Thanks, John!

By the way, how is your Quest Impaction E12? Fancy to share your experience so far? Do you keep it flybared?
