Spec wise it shows max continuous power specs equal to the scorpion 4025-1100 which is 2200 watts and 100 amps continuous so it should be great . I have flown several 700 size Savox motors (5065) and fly 2 presently, I am very happy with them. I see it has a 5mm shaft also and is lighter plus listed as a 550 motor. Should be good.

Diagram sheet HERE
1. Rated Voltage 22.2 V
2. Voltage Range 3-6 S
3. No-load current 6.7 Amps
4. Max. Continuous Power 2200 Watts
5. Max. Continuous Current 104 Amps
6. Terminal Resistance 16mΩ
7. KV Motor KV (No Load) 1200 KV
8. Pole 10 P
9. Slot 12 N
10. Motor Weight 270g

Default Servos

Also i have 3 new align ds530m servos. Mini servos. Hv 124.9 oz torque. .06 speed.. Wonder if with adaptor plates if these servos have enough torque for thr 550sx. Its light ship. I remeber running these airtronics servos way back in the day on freya 90 ships and they only has 115 oz torque. But nobody flew as crazy back then

How can Savox manage to make their motor 84 grams lighter?

On paper it is a great looking replacement for the 4025-1100.

Default bolt spacing

the 550 sx has a 30mm bolt spacing on motor mount
The spacing on the Savox is 25mm.
I have this Savox motor on another logo, and it is fine, but does not seem as strong as the scorpion I have in my other logo.

Fly this motor in my Diabolo 550. Plenty of punch so should be good for the logo. As to how they manage to get the power at lighter weight, I think it has to do with hand winding with single strand thick wire vs machine wound multistrand.
