Default lost plane locator

I would like to use a plane locator with my helis. I have these little beepers that plug in between a servo and receiver that will start beeping if they havent seen a servo movement within say a minute. They will not work with my 750 gyros. Even with the heli sitting on a table without any movement they will not work. I fly over bean and corn fields and If I should put one in it can be a real problem finding it, especially corn. I thought maybe one of the channels on the serial bus receiver might be able to use with some kind of beeper but am not sure how to do it. Any suggestions?
thanks
Jeff

would it work if you plugged it into the receiver then turned the transmitter off putting it in fail safe?

Set your receiver to a mode that has channels not in use by SBus.
Set that channel to be used/mirror the cyclic or collective within your transmitter.
Plug the beeper into that channel in the receiver.

I am just now getting around to trying this and was wondering how I am able to do this?
Two of my helis have a 6203sb connected to them and the other one has a 6208sb. Thanks for any advise or help
