Default 150x fyi will not bind to orange rx, works lemon

Got a new 150x GRS Flybarless System Set. Thought I'd pass on, I tried binding a orange rx 110xl to the new fbl to a dx8, it would not bind. It was the same sat I used on the 150 MRS I just replaced. Tried two other orange rx's with different manufacturing dates, fail. So tried a lemon sat, bound straight away. Took it out of case, re-enforced antenna and flying fine. Strange it doe's like an orange rx...

I should preempt this by saying, I don't have this receiver...

...try binding to the satellite using a factory spectrum receiver and then plug it in to the little Align one. test with caution

Weird. Heard of quite a few issues with Orange and I'll take a Lemon over a Spektrum satellite any day but if they're all DSMX and the Orange was working before I don't understand why it wouldn't bind to it.

Interesting

Yep I have a lemon diversity sat and works zero issues, took it out of case and put it into heatshrink. when I was looking orange sats seem more popular, glad i went with a lemon!

My original post was not to knock an orange rx. It's my preferred brand of receiver for the money. It was about the new glitchy 150 grs and binding problems. I really like the new grs over the old mrs, just that the new grs a nightmare to customize the my I want it to fly. Took days of gaming the grs software to fly great, but it does fly great (without the autolevel junk)!!!

I had one of those micro dsm2 orange rx on my MRS and it would always brown out every few flights and the heli would drop out of the sky . Recently it would do it on every flight so I replaced with a generic dsmx receiver I got from eBay and not one lost signal/ brown out in about 12 flights and counting . I think orange has molded . I run a lemon on my 6 inch quad and not a hiccup since I first got it about year ago. I'm just saying...
