Does it fit the "old" 550 SX?

It should fit, since the main frame is exactly the same as in usual 550SX.

It will fit but I think I read that the front skid on the new 550 uses the 600 location, so the new canopy has to fit in that location. So at the very least you might need new skids pipes with the new awesome canopy.

Just tried to put on my existing L550SX the new canopy from the L550. It seems the canopy mount need to be shortened.

But when I compare the manuals from the L550SX and the new L550 both using the same canopy mounts (Article 4102) and there is nothing in the new manual mention about some changes for the new canopy?

Maybe you just do not use the spacers?

I'm pretty sure its this one now even though it says for the Logo 600.

It's a little narrower and also longer.

Looks like the same skid tubes are used from your above photo . They look the same length.

They are place in the 600 location but they still provide the shorter 550 size pipes.

These are the black original set that they provide with the kit and you can see in the manual they give you the code for the shorter pipes.

I do have a set of 600 size skids that I might put on.

The OLD and new (v2) canopies are very slightly different. The v2 frame set is actually ~5mm taller than the old frame set. Either way, it's nothing a little bit of time with a 1/2" dremel sanding drum can't take care of.

Either way, I'm surprised they made a new plug for the latest canopy.

I'm pretty sure the canopy pins are the same between the 500,550,600,690, etc. I know the really old 500-3d used to come with plastic pins and the aluminum ones were considered an "upgrade". Those screws, spacers and rubber caps are for the front of the frame.

On the other hand, those r-clips are interesting since I've never had a canopy come loose on any of my Logos over the past... 8? years? but I do run magnets on the back of all my canopies.

Canopy posts on the new 550 and 600 look to be the same.
I have the new 600, and a guy at the club has the new 550, and another has the older 550SX V2.

The new 600 and the new 550 have shorter posts than the old 550SX V2.

thanks guys for helpful advice. I sent MIkado a message to update the website and manual.

I shorten mine with my Dremel that I could fly last weekend, but I will order the new proper one as well.

I like to look of the new canopy but to put it on is a bit tricky.
