Default Motor info??

Would anyone be able to give me any info on this motor?? Motor is from Voltage 500 3d, all I know about it is its 1400kv. I've searched but haven't seen any info on the motor unless I just looked over it.

Well I googled the company, searched for the motor, got the part number, googled the part number and came up with this

https://www.trainz.com/products/heli...nt=30525836102

Not sure what exactly you were looking for but that seems to be the general specs on it.

Thanks for the link Cpl Woody, I was hoping to find out the Poles, Winding's, and Statter size. I had found the can size and know it has a 1400kv.

You can tell just by the photo it's a 12N14P motor which means it has 12 stator teeth and 14 poles. Larger heli motors tend to be 12N10P which is better suited for higher rpm, 12N14P is more typical for planes. Smaller helis commonly use 9N6P motors.

With that motor configuration as shown it has to be wound dLRK (http://www.bavaria-direct.co.za). There's some variants to the dLRK scheme but they are essentially the same. It's a multi-strand wind which is typical. It's probably five or six turns per tooth with a bundle of seven to ten strands in parallel.

Usually motors are sized by stator dimension, but evidently that info is not posted anywhere. If you have the motor in hand you can simply measure it, otherwise it's a guess. Typical size for a 500 class heli would be a 3226 (32mm wide by 26mm long) on the smaller end and 4020 on the bigger end for a stretch. Though to reduce weight it would be possible to get away with something a little smaller than 3226 using higher Kv and shorter gearing.
